How to Control Your Pitching Ball Flights

and CEO of Golf University In this Golf University “Tip from the Pro”

but before you become a member let’s find out how to control our
pitching ball flights This “Tip from the Pro” brought to you by Golf University
the world’s premier golf improvement program When we’re looking at controlling trajectory
I see a lot of players often trying to lift it or drive it with their body as I’ve discussed previously we need to make sure
they were always looking to rotate through impact so a couple of little things you
can try again using our setup cross so we’re consistent and we know what works
and what doesn’t work for you as a player Iris follow so I take my normal setup but this time I’m going to try to hit a
little bit higher so I’m going to look to put my ball position a little bit
further forward from there I’ve still got 60% of my weight forward
I still got my chest forward but one difference here is I’m actually going to
add a little bit of negative shuffling positive shuffling negative shuffling
it’s impact on the face So here I’m gonna have a little bit of
negative shuffling so to me the shaft is running parallel with the
perpendicular line From there I’m simply going to rotate And hit the ball a
little bit higher with a little bit more spin then I’m gonna look at playing a
slightly different shot So I’ll put the ball back in the same position But this time it’s gonna go further back in my stance
it’s still in the same position relative to the perpendicular and I’m gonna look
at adding a little bit of positive shuffling So now I’ve got the shaft went
a long way forward of the perpendicular line and I’m gonna rotate and the ball is gonna come out a little lower and release a little bit more forward so next time you’re looking at
controlling ball flight and the trajectory Don’t tilt out of it don’t try to do it with the body make sure that you’re looking
at some different options and one of those is positive and negative shuffling Well there it is I hope you’ve enjoyed this
